The Current Status of Retirements Benefit Planning after the SECURE Act and the SECURE 2.0 Act. Relying on his experience advising clients in the areas of elder law, public benefits (including special needs trusts), estate and trust planning, and taxation, Mark designed this session to include a discussion of retirement benefits planning to the passage of both the SECURE Act and SECURE Act 2.0 for both disabled and non-disabled beneficiaries and planning options, including how to “stretch” the distribution period for non-disabled beneficiaries.

About the UnProgram
The “Unprogram” is an innovative design developed by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Interactive presentations and facilitated discussions on issues relevant to Elder Law attorneys. During 6 breakout sessions small groups of attendees are guided by an experienced attorney facilitator to discuss the substantive issues and challenges of the designated topic.
